Bill Cosby made a poorly timed joke Thursday night during his second comedy show in Canada when he told a female heckler she better “be careful drinking around” him.

Reports that differ over exactly what the woman said to Cosby first, but accounts are generally similar. One said she offered Cosby a drink, and he responded with, “You gotta be careful drinking around me.”

Another reports the woman was walking out of the theater, and when Cosby asked where she was going she told the 77-year-old she was going to get a drink, and then offered him one. Both include Cosby’s, “You gotta be careful drinking around me.” (RELATED: Bill Cosby Canada Shows Will Not Be Canceled)

After the joke, another heckler yelled out, “You’re a rapist!” to Cosby, but when the audience began to boo the heckler, Cosby told them not to respond as he was escorted out. (RELATED: Did Bill Cosby Leak His Daughter’s Drug Use To Cover Sex Scandal?)

Granted, this was not the best joke for Cosby to make right now. He’s currently accused of raping or drugging around 20-something women, and as a result, multiple U.S. shows have been canceled, though Cosby has never been charged.(RELATED: Histories Of Several Cosby Accusers Are Doubtful)
