The Houston Rockets traveled to Brooklyn to take on the Nets on Monday.

The match-up was provided a little extra fire when two of the most imposing forces in the league clashed heads early in the first quarter.

No seriously, Nets power forward Kevin Garnett straight up head-butted the Rockets’ center Dwight Howard.

This is classic KG. Dwight Howard is one of the most physically imposing forces in the league, but the big man absolutely wilts in front of Garnett’s special brand of crazy. Howard has always had trouble with Garnett, as evidenced by this picture from back in 2007.

Howard is a good player, but he’ll never be as great as Garnett. “Old-man” Kevin still plays with the same intensity he used to break into the league, and that fire more than makes up for any steps he’s lost to Father Time.

After all, when you put your mind to it, “ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!”

PS — You don’t step to KG because, “confidentially… he IS crazy. And he’ll f*****g kill you.”

UPDATE: NBA suspended Garnett for one game for instigating the fight. Howard will be fined $15,000, reports 120 Sports.
