The Kurt Busch domestic assault case has officially taken a turn towards Crazy-ville.

The second half of the two-day hearing concluded on Tuesday, and it featured some wild allegations from both sides.

Patricia Driscoll — the woman who levied domestic assault allegations against Busch about an incident on Sept. 26, 2014 — testified that Busch was a manic-depressive alcoholic, and that she had entered his trailer on the night of the incident intending to help him.

Busch, however, paints the situation in a slightly different light — DRISCOLL IS A TRAINED ASSASSIN. Busch even believes that he was with her on the night of an alleged contract-killing:

“He recounted a time they were in El Paso, Texas, when Driscoll left in camouflage gear only to return later wearing a trench coat over an evening gown covered with blood.

Busch said that, a day earlier, Driscoll told him she was a mercenary who killed people for a living and had shown him pictures of bodies with gunshot wounds.”

The story doesn’t stop there.

Driscoll’s alleged background as a trained assassin who had experience killing drug lords via long-range sniper rifles and close combat tactics – including the use of knives and poison – became a major talking point during the latter stages of the hearing.

On both Monday and Tuesday, Busch said he still believes Driscoll is a trained assassin, despite some of his doubts and questioning by friends.

“Everyone on the outside can tell me I’m crazy, but I lived it on the inside…,” Busch testified. “Sorry I’m the last one to the party.”

This sounds absolutely crazy, but when you take Driscoll’s background into consideration, the story actually sounds kind of plausible. While her day job is the president of the Armed Forces Foundation, a military non-profit, Driscoll is also a consultant for Frontline Defense Systems, a private weapons contractor.

It should be noted that — according to Delaware Online — “neither Driscoll nor her attorney refuted the claims during the hearing.”

It should also be noted that even if Ms. Driscoll is indeed a sniper rifle-wielding, commando ninja, that doesn’t mean Busch didn’t assault her.

We’re going to keep our eyes on this one.
