New York Post, UPI Twitter Accounts Hacked Simultaneously

The Twitter accounts for the New York Post and United Press International were the victims of a simultaneous hack Friday afternoon, with accounts tweeting about a fake World War III breaking out between China and the United States and an imaginary Federal Reserve decision freezing bank accounts. As of 1:30 Eastern Time, the New York Post had regained control of its Twitter account and deleted the renegade tweet. UPI, however, is still in the throes of its hacker(s).
