Paul Pierce had some fun with the media on Saturday night following the Washington Wizards’ 99-90 win over the Brooklyn Nets.
The 16-year NBA vet approached the Brooklyn media wearing a goofy pair of fake glasses and shouting, “Come on man, we executed!!”
This came a day after Oklahoma City guard Russell Westbrook repeatedly told reporters, “We executed,” in an interview following the Thunder’s impressive win over the first-place Golden State Warriors.
In the original interview, a hostile Westbrook channeled his inner Marshawn Lynch, and answered almost every question directed toward him by saying that his team executed. Watch the original Westbrook interview below:
In his mock interview, Pierce continually interrupted reporter’s questions and responded with, “We executed.” He even went on to tell a reporter, “I don’ like you,” another line stolen from Westbrook’s mantra.

Pierce could hardly keep a straight face and is seen smirking throughout the interview. His ridiculous shades are a friendly jab at Westbrook, who often wears lensless glasses in a fashionable way to compliment his flamboyant outfits.
Pierce eventually broke character and gave a legitimate interview, but he sure gave the media some yucks before doing so.
