Possible (but really not at all likely) presidential hopeful Donald Trump is making the “mother of all media availabilities” Monday when he arrives in Myrtle Beach for a South Carolina tea party convention.
He’s even got conservative reporters in South Carolina “swooning” as he invites them aboard his private jet.
Is Trump’s memory so short?
Does he not recall the devastation that ensued when he invited a certain Mormon reporter onto his plane and to his hotel at Mar-a-Lago Club in Palm Beach? Granted, that was BuzzFeed, which can lean left. And this is FITSNEWS, a solidly right-leaning pub that is sympathetic to the likes of Trump. The conservative publication does say Trump will host “select” members of the media on his plane and fully admits that this will include FITSNEWS’ “swooning” founding editor. So he’s not that stupid.
By the way, the jet is apparently worth $100 million and is drenched in obnoxious gold.
