Seth Rogen is backtracking after receiving backlash for a tweet he sent out Sunday comparing “American Sniper” to the Nazi propaganda film featured within Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglorious Basterds.”
Rogen originally tweeted out this.
American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that's showing in the third act of Inglorious Basterds.

On Monday, multiple news outlets and celebrities called out Rogen for his tweet, mainly because comparing a film about Chris Kyle’s career as a Navy SEAL with one about a fake Nazi sniper in World War II is just moronic.
Rogen clarifies that he wasn’t comparing them, but one just “kinda reminded” him of the other.
I just said something "kinda reminded" me of something else. I actually liked American Sniper. It just reminded me of the Tarantino scene.

I wasn't comparing the two. Big difference between comparing and reminding. Apples remind me of oranges. Can't compare them, though.

But if you were having a slow news day, you're welcome for me giving you the opportunity to blow something completely out of proportion.
