In the closest he’s gotten to a explicit confirmation so far, former Republican Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee said on “The View” that he’d be “the dumbest man alive” to leave his Fox News show, but not run for president. HOST NICOLLE WALLACE: Are you going to run for president and bring that — seriously, you have a conviction and a belief that that’s part of what’s missing. You can bring it obviously. Are you going to bring that to the presidential contest?

HUCKABEE: Well, I’ll put it this way, I left the show that I had for six and a half years on the Fox News network. If I don’t run for president, I’ve got to be the dumbest man alive to give up that good of a gig to not run.

WALLACE: People, that was a yes. (Laughter)

HUCKABEE: But, no announcement immediately. Fair enough.
