Kalin Lucas and Jarnell Stokes of the NBA D-League’s Iowa Energy were ejected for fighting each other during their game Tuesday night.
The fight broke out during a timeout in the third quarter of the Energy’s 124-120 win over Rio Grande Valley. Both players were ejected after the referees watched a replay of the incident.
Unfortunately, the video doesn’t get a close-up view of the fight, but it’s still amazing that two teammates fought each other. It’s even more amazing that Lucas is a six-foot-one point guard and Stokes is a six-foot-nine power forward.
There aren’t many D-League storylines that people follow, but how Lucas and Stokes interact going forward will be definitely be one of them.
