Amanda Peet plays the ditzy sister with questionable morals on the new HBO series “Togetherness,” so one might wonder how she single-handedly almost stopped “Game of Thrones” from ever happening.
You see, Peet also happens to be married to the “GOT” series co-creator David Benioff, and she was on Conan O’Brien’s show Tuesday night when she revealed that she thought the show was really, really stupid at first.
She said when David first pitched the idea, she told him not to go ahead with it.
“I thought it was a terrible idea. Terrible,” Peet said.
