A man in Kingsley, Mich. called 911 over 100 times over the course of a month, because why not?
The man, 25, was arrested Thursday when he made another call to 911 and police traced his phone to Cherrywood mobile home park, Traverse City Record-Eagle reports.
He confessed to calling the emergency number 106 times using multiple different phones between Jan. 11 and Feb. 2 out of “drunken boredom.”
Police had reportedly stopped responding to the calls because the caller never said anything — until Thursday, KCTV 5 News reports. Capt. Randy Fewless said that when the caller stopped receiving a response, “he escalated his response by laboring his breathing.”
