The Hill has hired a new White House correspondent who is something of a familiar face around the newsroom. With Justin Sink off to Bloomberg Politics, they had a space to fill. So they’re doing so with Jordan Fabian, who left The Hill in 2011 to work for Univision and Fusion.

They’re looking forward to his return.

The internal memo…from editor-in-chief Bob Cusack.
We’re pleased to announce that Jordan Fabian will be joining us as a White House correspondent. Jordan, as many of you remember, was a staff reporter for us between May 2009 and July 2011.

Since the summer of 2011, Jordan has been politics editor for Univision News and Fusion, where he participated in a roundtable interview with President Obama.

Jordan missed The Hill and we missed him. He is an extremely talented journalist who will excel in his new role here. Jordan’s also very loyal, evidenced by the fact he is a long-suffering Redskins fan (is that redundant?).

He will start Monday, March 9.
