Bill Nye “The Science Guy” went on MSNBC Monday to discuss global warming for roughly the billionth time, during which he complained about the fact that the media doesn’t spend enough time discussing global warming. (VIDEO: MSNBC Blames Buffalo Snowstorm On Global Warming)

“So, what I would hope for, my dream, Joy, is that you all, you in the news business would say the word ‘climate change,’” said Nye. “Just like, ‘it could be climate change,’ it’s a possible connection to climate change,’ ‘Is this evidence of climate change?’ Just toss that in now and then!”

A quick search of MSNBC’s transcript reveals that “climate change” has been mentioned 199 times so far this year, and “global warming” has been mentioned 32 times. That amounts to about an average of five mentions a day.
