Former medical clinic owner Anthony Bosch was sentenced to four years in federal prison on Tuesday, for illegally supplying steroid injections and other performance-enhancing drugs to Major League Baseball players, The Associated Press reports.

Bosch became infamous in what is known as the “Biogenesis” scandal, when he found culpable for conspiracy to distribute testosterone to athletes last year from his clinic in Florida. Bosch’s most famous client was Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, who was suspended for the 2014 season for his ties to the clinic.

“Bosch falsely held himself out as a licensed medical doctor at his Biogenesis of America clinic, where he accepted thousands of dollars a month to provide steroid injections to players such as New York Yankees star Alex Rodriguez and Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers,” theaccording to the AP.
