Amid ratings trouble at the “Lean Forward” network, MSNBC is reportedly set to cancel “The Reid Report,” hosted by Joy Reid, in the near future. The change was first reported by Mediaite.

According to the report, Reid was informed Thursday of the change. It is unknown when the show will be departing the airwaves, nor what will be taking it’s place during the 2 p.m. slot.

News of the change is not pleasing everyone at the network though. According to the a Mediaite source, Reid losing her show is “a slap in the face of a woman of color,” a direct shot at Ronan Farrow, who has raked in even fewer viewers than Reid. Farrow recently pulled in only 11k viewers in the 25-54 demographic, it’s lowest output for the hour, while being beaten by the likes of Fox News, CNN, CNBC, HLN, and even Al Jazeera.

The news comes not long after a report emerged that the network was ready to shake up their lineup, saying that “everything is on the table” with the likes of Farrow, Reid, and possibly even Chris Hayes being cancelled or reshuffled.
