Only a few months have passed since he left the White House and took a new job, but Jay Carney is moving on to Amazon.

First reported by Politico Playbook, the former White House press secretary under President Barack Obama is leaving his gig as a senior political analyst for CNN to join with the Jeff Bezos-led behemoth.

According to reports, Carney will be the company’s new senior vice president for worldwide corporate affairs, overseeing its public relations and lobbying arms.

He will be shuttling between the company’s headquarters in Seattle and Washington, D.C.

Carney, who left the White House last June, was the second press secretary during the Obama administration, and was succeeded by current spokesman Josh Earnest.
