Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu addressed Congress on Tuesday to plead with American lawmakers to take a stauncher stance against Iran and its nuclear program.

Dismissing the recent friction between Israel and the White House, Netanyahu stated that the two countries’ relationship, “has always been above politics, and must always remain above politics,” and called upon the United States to curtail Iran’s behavior in the Middle East.

While the chamber was packed with representatives from both houses, the CSPAN cameras spotted a special guest sitting just behind PM Netanyahu’s wife.

That’s Robert Kraft, chairman and CEO of the 2015 Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots.

Kraft’s appearance isn’t exactly surprising; the 73-year-old owner was raised in an Orthodox Jewish home — his father wanted Bob to become a rabbi — and currently sponsors the IFL, the only American football league in Israel.
