Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu continues to receive plaudits from across the spectrum on the right, and that was no different when Rush Limbaugh broached the topic on his radio show Tuesday afternoon.

Opening his show, the conservative radio host bellowed “Wow…holy wow” in response to the speech, telling his audience that Netanyahu is “everything Barack Obama is not.”

“The optics of this speech were just so overwhelmingly powerful. When I say ‘What could have been,’ this was leadership. This was leadership in full force,” Limbaugh said.

“Benjamin Netanyahu today was everything Barack Obama is not,” Limbaugh continued. “Everything. This speech today even featured Netanyahu turning to a guest in the gallery, much like presidents who deliver State of the Union speeches. Netanyahu’s guest, Elie Wiesel, a Holocaust survivor.”

Limbaugh continued praising the speech while boosting the of importance of the speech as a whole in a historical context.

“This speech, as I say, historically important, moral, ethical, and legal clarity. Nothing like that combination to focus the mind,” Limbaugh said. “And this speech was all about rallying and saving Western civilization, which is what is under assault.”
