It’s not uncommon for people to run from police, but what two men in Arizona did during their police chase is anything but ordinary.

Police say two men on the run in a high-speed police chase tossed several bales of marijuana out the car window in a one-of-a-kind way to ditch evidence.

Pinal County Sheriff’s Deputies attempted to pull over a white Trailblazer at around noon Wednesday, but the occupants, Mario Perez-Paz and Juan Aguilar-Zavala, had other plans, Tucson News Now reports. Newly released dash camera footage shows the vehicle speed off, cross the median, weave onto both sides of the road and run a stop sign.

But that’s not the crazy part. The two men inside appear to throw bales of marijuana out the window. The bales bounce and explode on the interstate, nearly hitting the pursuing officer’s vehicle.

A video of the incident posted to the sheriff’s office’s Facebook page shows the car swerve around the road leaving behind a trail of weed bales.

The men finally pulled over and fled on foot. Police arrested the men on charges of possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, transportation of marijuana for sale, conspiracy to transport marijuana for sale, and unlawful flight. That arrest helped lead to the discovery of a stash house in Mesa, Az., where 20 illegal immigrants from Guatemala and Mexico were discovered.

According to police, some opportunistic Arizonans picked up much of the evidence from the roadside, but police were still able to recover 374 total pounds of marijuana.

Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu had a few parting words to criticize Obama.

“This further proves that not only drugs like methamphetamine, cocaine and heroin are being smuggled into America by way of Arizona, but scores of illegals from Central America have never stopped,” Babeu said in a statement on Facebook. “Meanwhile, President Obama continues to violate US immigration law and instead prioritizes the needs and concerns of illegals ahead of American citizens.”
