Fifteen players from Southern University and Texas Southern University have been suspended by the Southwestern Atlantic Conference following a massive fight during Saturday’s game between the two schools’ women’s basketball teams.
The fight in question occurred after a questionable foul call in the second half, and moments later, the entire court erupted into all-out mayhem.

Seven players from each school were suspended for the remainder of the season, and Southern University guard Keonia Parrish was kicked off the team.
To add insult to injury, Texas Southern was forced to withdraw from the SWAC conference tournament, as the suspensions preclude the team from fielding a full, starting lineup. Texas Southern would have been the No. 1 seed in the tournament.
