Life must be nice if you’re a starting pitcher on the Washington Nationals.
Stephen Strasburg, Max Scherzer, Jordan Zimmeran, Doug Fister and Gio Gonzalez are the strength of Washington’s roster, and this year, the group looks to win back-to-back National East pennants for the first time in team history.
The Nats are among the favorites to win it all this year, but none of that pressure appears to be fazing the starting five. For example, Gonzalez decided to channel his inner “Super Troopers” and drop 10 “meows” during a live interview on Wednesday.
