New York Jets wide receiver Saalim Hakim challenged new Jets wide receiver Brandon Marshall to race Thursday over Instagram to decide who will wear No. 15 next season for the Jets.

Hakim has since deleted the original Instagram video challenging Marshall, but he posted a new Instagram video Thursday saying that the challenge is still on.

The Jets traded with the Bears last Friday to acquire Marshall. He is one of the league’s best receivers and will give the Jets their best playmaker in years.

Hakim played a small role for the Jets last season averaging 21. 5 yards on his 13 kickoff returns, while having no catches on offense.

Hakim would more than likely win a race against Marshall, but he should hope the Jets don’t cut him before a race can even happen.
