A caller into C-SPAN’s “Washington Journal” temporarily sidelined the discussion on the Iranian nuclear talks with his detailed life story, which coincidentally sounded exactly the theme song from the 1990’s sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.” (VIDEO: Mom Calls Into C-SPAN To Tell Her Pundit Sons To Stop Fighting)

“I just want to make it clear first of all, I’m calling from Bel Air, California,” said the caller, who identified himself as Jack Strickland, and not Will Smith. “But I’m originally from Philadelphia, specifically West Philadelphia.”

“But anyway, I was actually discussing this issue with a friend of mine recently while I was in Philly. It occurred on the basketball court. At some point during the conversation, a couple of guys who were up to no good essentially started causing trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, and said you’re moving with auntie and your uncle to Bel Air.”

At this point, C-SPAN’s call-screener evidently picked up on the references and cut Mr. Strickland off. But you can listen to the rest here:
