In recent weeks, John McCain seems to have finally, finally learned that it doesn’t do him any good to be accommodating to liberals and the media (pardon the redundancy). They only see it as weakness. They’re going to shriek at him no matter what he says, so he might as well tell them the truth.
First he blasted the Code Pink lowlife scum as, well, “lowlife scum.” Then he called out Dick Durbin’s cynical, reality-denying racism. And now we have this, from CNN on Sunday:
“There was a free and fair democratic election. The only nation in the region that will have such a thing. The president should get over it. Get over your temper tantrum, Mr. President.”
And then he said a bunch of other stuff that nobody will care about, and the CNN anchor bravely defended her king, and so on. The important thing is that lefties can yet again call McCain a racist, this time for pointing out that Obama’s hatred of Netanyahu has clouded his “thinking.” The President of the United States didn’t get his way, and now he’s more determined than ever to let Iran nuke Israel into oblivion.
Tough break, all you Jews. If you didn’t want to be cleansed from the earth, you shouldn’t have voted for Bibi.
If you’re reading this in Israel, I hope you’re paying attention to who’s on your side. The Democrats sure as hell ain’t.
