For nearly a year, The Daily Banter‘s Tommy Christopher has donned a top hat for his attendance at White House briefings, on talk shows and wherever his professional brand might be on display.
Was he trying to stand out in the sea of suits as an old timey journalist?

But on Wednesday — shockingly — the hat came off and a new mobster chic gelled hairdo emerged.
In other Christopher news today, he weirdly thanked himself. Hey, we all need an occasional pat on the back.
But seriously, this is Christopher’s most cleaned up look in years.
And it was extremely unplanned.
Asked if he got another makeover after his Saks encounter in 2010, he replied, “No, I left home an hour behind schedule, no time to shave, and forgot my hat. But I’m glad you approve.”
Some may recall that Christopher landed in second place on FishbowlDC’s 2012 “Most In Need Of A Makeover” contest. Breitbart News‘ Matthew Boyle earned the top score.
