You Won’t Believe How Close This Race Between A Tesla And A Ferrari F12 Was [VIDEO]

After Tesla Motors dropped the all-wheel drive P85D last fall, the car’s 691 horsepower, 687 pound-feet of torque and 3.2 (now 3.1) 0-60 m.p.h. launch time immediately made it a drag champion, but the competition is stepping up.

In the latest video by DragTimes first noticed by The Verge, a V12, 729-horsepower Ferrari F12 Berlinetta with 508 pound-feet of torque and a 0-60 m.p.h. time of 3.1 seconds gives the Tesla one of its best races yet. (RELATED: Tesla Is Making The World’s Fastest Sedan Even Faster With A Software Update)
