During an appearance on “Live With Kelly And Michael,” First Lady Michelle Obama admitted that when she was teaching her daughter Malia how to drive a car, she realized she had no idea how to park a car in a public parking lot. “I’ve got a driver,” she joked. “A 16-year-old driving around — I know. It’s like wow, yeah. As I warn people, look out, D.C.!”
“She always has security around,” the first lady continued. “But in order for her to learn how to drive, she had to drive on her own. So once she was legally permitted to drive on her own, she gets in her car. She would ask me things like, ‘how do you park in a public lot?’ I’m like, ‘That’s right. You don’t know how do those things.’”
