Former NFL and University of Missouri defensive end Michael Sam was voted off ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars” Monday.
The 25-year-old Sam and dancing partner Peta Murgatroyd were the third pair to get the boot after receiving the lowest number of user votes after the last episode.
Sam made headlines prior to the 2014 NFL draft after coming out as gay. He was drafted by the Rams in the 7th round before being released and picked up by Dallas.
The Cowboys eventually released Sam in October 2014.
