After Kanye West assaulted videographer Danny Ramos outside of LAX in the summer of 2013, Ramos filed a lawsuit against the rapper alleging assault, battery, negligence and interference with his civil rights.

Now the two have settled the suit, and all West had to do was take a really embarrassing photo shaking the guy’s hand.

Though Ramos’s lawyer Gloria Allred said they were seeking damages and were set to go to court next week, the photographer filed for a dismissal on Tuesday because “the case was settled to the satisfaction of the parties,” Allred wrote in a statement to TheDC.

“We cannot discuss the details of the settlement, except to say that one important aspect of it was an apology by Kanye West to our client, Daniel Ramos.”

“After the apology, a picture was taken of Mr. West shaking Mr. Ramos’ hand.”
