Ari Fleischer may enjoy going on “Morning Joe,” but he may not be making any appearances in the near future after comments about one of the show’s hosts Thursday.

In an appearance on Newsmax’s “The Steve Malzberg Show,” the former press secretary for President George W. Bush said “Morning Joe” co-host Mika Brzezinski is “a parrot” for President Obama, while adding that she has a tendency to “go off the deep end.”

Fleischer made the comment after Brzezinski accused Fleischer of using rhetoric Wednesday on the program that said, in her mind, that the U.S. should “go to war” after the U.S. struck a framework deal with Iran last week.

“You weren’t saying ‘let’s go to war,’ were you?” asked host Steve Malzberg. “You were just saying how could the two countries be talking about the same ‘deals and parameters’ in such different language.”

“You know, I enjoy doing ‘Morning Joe’ because it wakes me up,” Fleischer started, “but Mika sometimes goes off the deep end. She is just a parrot of the president when it comes to — ‘well if you don’t do what Barack Obama says you must be for war.'”

“Of course it’s nonsense,” Fleischer said of the MSNBC host’s claim. “What I’m for is, actually, an agreement that stops Iran from getting nuclear weapons as President Obama promised in the second debate [in 2012]. This agreement doesn’t do it.”

“The problem I have on a substantive level is this agreement means that Iran keeps all the material in the country. It doesn’t send any of the material out of the country,” Fleischer explained. “We give up the leverage we have for sanctions. And, of course I’m for sanctions. There’s no snapback. We’ll never get the U.N. or the E.U. to snapback sanctions if they’re once removed. Has anybody ever seen the U.N. or the E.U. do anything fast?”

“And it’s unverifiable. There’s no instant inspections of Iranian facilities, and never are there any inspections of any of their military facilities, and they can deem anything military,” Fleischer said. “This agreement will most likely lead to war because it’s going to put Israel in a corner where Israel thinks America no longer has its back.”
