The first trailer for the second season of “True Detective” just dropped, and it’s got Rachel McAdams holding a gun within the first five seconds, all but guaranteeing this to be a great season.
Nic Pizzolatto produces the HBO series, and this season is set in Los Angeles, and judging by the trailer it looks like it’s going to be sullen and intense.
Or as HBO puts it: “A bizarre murder brings together three law-enforcement officers and a career criminal, each of whom must navigate a web of conspiracy and betrayal.”
The second season starring Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Rachel McAdams and Taylor Kitsch premieres June 21.
