Is Michelle Obama Responsible For The Bee Swarm That Overtook Small Children? Here’s Evidence.

Panic erupted and screams rang out Monday when bees descended upon a group of small children as Barack Obama read aloud during the Easter Egg Roll.

“They sting, and they’re scary!” one child hollered, as Obama grinned and tried to console the kids.

And these bees weren’t a symptom of the warm Washington weather, either, but rather a beehive that’s made the South Lawn its home, all thanks to Michelle Obama.

The first lady welcomed the flying insects to the White House in 2009 in order to pollinate her spring vegetable garden, and Obama took steps to protect them as well when he directed government agencies to protect and restore the bee population last June.

Surely, the children don’t feel as compassionate about saving the bees as the president does.

If you haven’t followed the timeline of these tax dollar pollinators, the folks over at MMG have an hysterical, generously-edited retelling, which you can watch above.
