Marco Rubio is running for the White House.

Ahead of a Miami announcement rally on Monday evening, the Florida Republican senator is telling donors he is launching a presidential campaign, according to the Associated Press.

The AP said Rubio told the donors he feels that he is “uniquely qualified” to run.

The Republican, up for re-election to the Senate in 2016, has said he will either run for the Senate again or for the White House.

Rubio’s announcement follows the entrance of fellow Republican Senators Ted Cruz and Rand Paul into the race. Democrat Hillary Clinton also announced that she will seek the presidency on Sunday.
