Wikipedia still has a long, long ways to go toward being credible.
They have factually incorrect information about me on Washington Post rarely reported media blog writer Erik Wemple‘s Wikipedia page. What’s more, the person “editing” his Wikipedia page can’t even spell his name.
Wikipedia prides itself on making sure that only knowledgable sources on a matter edit a person’s page. And yet the so-called knowledgeable person named “Congregationalist” spells his surname Wempele?
No doubt a really reliable source.
The page reports that they want Wemple’s page to read less like an advertisement — you know, as in, not heavily edited by the person the page is about. And yet this so called “expert” editor is calling for awards won by “Wempele.”
