‘YOU GAY WHORE!’ Fourth-Grade Bullying Lesson Has Kids CUSS LIKE SAILORS

A Manchester, N.H. parent has claimed a local guidance counselor visited his fourth-grade son’s public elementary school and instructed students to write down bullying phrases which included curse words.

The little kids then had to loudly, emphatically, shout the swear-word-filled phrases in front of class.

The impressively creative youngsters reportedly came up with a host of colorful phrases including “FUCK YOU!” as well as “YOU FUCKER” and “YOU GAY WHORE!”

The point of the taxpayer-funded lesson was to reduce bullying, according to EAGnews.org.

The Daily Caller is not making this up.

The lesson occurred at Hallsville Elementary School, irate parent Keith Katsikas told EAGnews.

The guidance counselor who provided the anti-bullying lesson is Laurie Evans of Webster Elementary School, another grade school in town.

As Katsikas explained, Evans started the innovative lesson by taping a life-size paper man to the classroom wall.

Then, the guidance counselor provided pieces of paper to the fourth graders. She asked them to write down some really terrible insult. There was just one rule: The insult had to include a cuss word of some kind.

She collected the pieces of paper, balled them up and placed them in a blue basket.

Next, Katsikas said, Evans asked students to come to the front of the classroom, pick a piece of paper at random and loudly shout the obscene phrase it contained at the life-size figure on the wall.

“Say it like you mean it,” Evans told the little kids, according to the mad dad.

The students were also supposed to tear a piece of the paper man off — presumably symbolizing the way insults can diminish a person’s sense of self.

Many students didn’t want to participate in the yelling, Katsikas has noted, but the guidance counselor allegedly told them they “had to.”

Students could decline a certain insult but “they were not given the option to just sit down and not participate,” Katsikas told EAGnews.

At the end of the stream of vulgarities spewed by nine- and 10-year-old children, Evans told students to return one-by-one to the paper man, tape back the piece they had removed  and apologize to the completely fake, two-dimensional graphic taped on the wall.

Katsikas’s son’s teacher “confirmed everything that my son was saying was correct,” he told the website.

“The activity was set up by principal Christi Michaud and therefore was out of his hands,” Katsikas also said.

The frustrated father noted that he wishes he would have known about the disturbing lesson ahead of time so he could have been able to keep his fourth-grade son home that day.

School district officials have said they are investigating the tapestry of cuss words forced on children.

“We are investigating the parents concerns,” school distict spokeswoman Debra Livingston told EAGnews. “The investigation is not yet complete. When it is, we will meet with the parent first.”
