Do White Lives Matter? Obama’s Medal Of Freedom Honoree Says ‘No! Kill ‘Em Too!’

If you have the benefit of living in England, perhaps you read yesterday’s account of the single most vile, disgusting, call to American racial violence in recent memory. Sadly, if you lived here in America – you didn’t. Stateside, only Tucker Carlson’s brave Daily Caller and the Washington Times thought that author and Medal of Freedom honoree Toni Morrison’s call for the systematic slaughter of white teenagers was worthy of mention.

For those of you not familiar with Morrison, the rotund octogenarian race baiter and author, was awarded the Presidential Medal Of Freedom back in 2012 — perhaps not surprisingly from ideological compatriot Barack Obama. (No word yet on whether or not Mr. Obama has condemned her call to slaughter White teenagers. This is most likely because no reporter has had the cojones to ask him, or his press secretary, the question). For the uninitiated, here’s Morrison’s quote in the Telegraph in all its racist glory:

“People keep saying, ‘We need to have a conversation about race’…. This is the conversation. I want to see a cop shoot a white unarmed teenager in the back … . And I want to see a white man convicted for raping a black woman. Then when you ask me, ‘Is it over?’, I will say yes.”

The mainstream media’s blackout aside, it’s hard to see what is more offensive about Ms. Morrison’s quote: That a Nobel Prize winning author would call for a rise in the arbitrary execution of white teenagers, that she would remain so ignorant of modern rape statistics, or that the mainstream media would ignore both.

To be fair to Ms. Morrison, the twin burdens of writing insipid, obscure, racist novels to be foisted upon college freshman, while simultaneously being the official Grand Dame of race-hustling (now that Maya Angelou is gone), must be quite a burden. But one wonders if Ms. Morrison couldn’t spare at least five minutes of her busy day to Google “Unarmed White Teenagers Killed By Police.” I did – and the results were, (at least to the well-informed) not the least bit surprising.

But just to placate your bloodlust, Ms. Morrison – I’ll play along.

Perhaps you missed the case of innocent, unarmed white Utah teen Dillon Taylor, who bodycam footage proves was complying with officers’ orders to “Put his hands up,” but was gunned down anyways by Salt Lake City Police on August 11th, 2014. For your benefit, that was just two days after the now-debunked Michael Brown shooting. That’s what English majors call “palpable irony.”

Even though you never served in a war, perhaps you were too busy being awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to pay attention to unarmed white teenager Tyler Comstock, who was shot dead by Police in Ames, IA on November 8th, 2013.

Perhaps you never heard of the case of unarmed, white teenager Gilbert Collar, age 18, who was killed by black policeman Trevis Austin in Mobile, Alabama on October 6th, 2012.

Perhaps you were too busy at a poetry reading at the 92nd St. Y to Google “Christopher Roupe,” the 17-year-old White teenager armed only with a Wii controller, who was gunned down by Police in Georgia on February 14th, 2014.

Perhaps you were just too busy between Geritol enemas to Google the case of unarmed, white teenager Joseph Jennings, age 18. Although his parents warned police that he was an unarmed, mentally ill, suicidal teen, that didn’t stop them from gunning him down in cold blood on August 23rd, 2014.

Or perhaps you haven’t heard of the case of Whites David Garver and his brother Enoch Garver, who was killed just last week by Arizona police – after police accosted his Christian family band in a Walmart parking lot for no reason.

Perhaps – but not likely.

The sad truth is that I could go on and on – but my editor reminded me that I do have a word limit. While it is true that some, but not all, of the above instances involved mental illness, intoxication, self-defense, or resisting arrest against legitimate police force, those issues never seem to be a problem for Morrison and her ilk when the “victims” are Michael Brown, Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, or Walter Scott. To the race-baiting left, victims’ actions are only grounds for pause when the shooter’s skin resembles that of Nicole Kidman.

The sad truth is that the above cases don’t fit so well into the left’s national race narrative, so we’ve never heard of them. The race-baiters of the Democrat left – from Al Sharpton to Reverend Wright, Jesse Jackson to Barack Obama, Eric Holder to yourself, have a vested, self-interest in perpetuating the myth that blacks are arrested for – and victims of – the same crimes for which whites happily go scott free.

I hate to disappoint you and Chris Rock, but your humble author – who is so white he’s practically translucent — has been pulled over multiple times for the most minor of traffic infractions only to have his vehicle illegally searched. (Sadly, nobody will watch my sensationalist YouTube posts about it because I don’t have my own HBO specials).

Do you think “gentle giant” Michael Brown was unfairly targeted for jaywalking because he was black? You may want to think again. As a minor, your humble author – a man who makes Casper the Friendly Ghost look like Wesley Snipes – was ticketed by police for jaywalking while trying to catch a bus in Santa Monica, CA. I had to appear in front of a judge with my mother. Talk about embarrassing. Yet it sounds suspiciously like Eric Holder’s DOJ’s alleged “racial harassment” of Ferguson Blacks, doesn’t it?

Hmm. I wish my experiences were an anomaly, but my white friends’ experiences were no different. In other words Toni: It all happens to us whites — and to everybody else — too.

Once you start teaching the black community that basic fact – combined with the ethic of personal responsibility – your community may get somewhere. In the meantime, I’ll accept your admission that, “It’s over.”
