Police say a California burglar was arrested after deciding to make a snack and grab some Z’s in the home he had incidentally invaded.

James Adams allegedly broke into a Petaluma home Thursday, but his first priority was getting something to eat. The man heated up some frozen tater tots and took a quick nap on the couch, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

That nap went a little long, though. The female homeowner came downstairs around 2 p.m. and found the man snoozing on the couch. She called police and fled out the front door while the alleged burglar fled out the back.

The man allegedly kicked out two planks in the fence and climbed through but was met by police officers who happened to be stationed nearby. Police said they tasered the man twice before getting him in the police car.

Adams has previous arrests for drug and weapon possession. No officers involved were injured.
