Kim Kardashian said that her family had “hundreds” of family meetings about Bruce Jenner’s transition into a woman, with “every emotion you could possibly imagine.”

In an interview with Matt Lauer, the 34-year-old reality star said she doesn’t understand the whole thing.

“I know it’s something you and I could really fully understand, but I don’t even think we have to,” Kardashian said. “I think there is still an adjustment and there is family therapy. We’re really close.” (RELATED: Bruce Jenner: ‘I Am A Woman’)

She said her family has met with multiple organizations like GLAD, a transgender rights project, to learn more, like whether or not they call Jenner him or her.

“Until that transition is done, we’ve learned that you do refer to him as him.”

Jenner confirmed in his two hour interview with Diane Sawyer on ABC Friday that, “for all intents and purposes,” he is a woman.

“I’m not stuck in anyone’s body. This is who I am.”

The former Olympic athlete also told a surprised Sawyer that he was also a Republican. (RELATED: Here’s Why Bruce Jenner Says He’s Republican)
