YouTube user Jost kobusch captured an the amazing video of an avalanche that hit base camp on Mount Everest.
“The ground was shaking from the earthquake and as soon as we saw people running we were running ourselves to save our lives,” wrote kobusch, with the video posted Sunday.
The avalanche killed 18 on the mountain as part of the earthquake that has a death toll of at least 3,400 through Nepal.
The aftermath of the avalanche blocked the pathway down the mountain, leaving roughly 150 trapped on Everest for the time being.
