You’ve gotta appreciate the email subject line of Gov. Andrew Cuomo‘s endorsement of the man vying to replace Rep. Michael Grimm (R-N.Y.).
The release refers to Grimm as “the disgraced” former congressman.
As some won’t forget, Grimm threatened to physically injure Michael Scotto, a NY1 reporter, when he surprised him with on-air questions about a federal investigation against him concerning tax fraud, for which he was later indicted on 20 counts.
Grimm famously threatened to toss the repeater off the Cannon balcony. He later apologized.
Let’s hope deputy leader councilman, Vinnie Gentile, is slightly more gentile and less grim than the previous congressman.
