District of Columbia Mayor Muriel Bowser asked Twitter Tuesday what it thought of bringing “our Washington football team back home.”

The answer was a resounding “No.”

During her State of The District speech in March, Bowser said the city was ready to host the Major League Basketball All-Star game in 2018, and perhaps a Super Bowl one Sunday. She pitched an unsuccessful bid for the 2024 Olympics and she worked hard to get a new stadium for the city’s Major League Soccer team, D.C. United.

The Washington Redskins’ lease at their current stadium just outside the city doesn’t expire for over a decade, but Bowser has made it clear she wants to bring the team back into the district, but only if they change their name.

While there haven’t been any meaningful talks between the team and the city about plans to play their home games within city limits, Bowser took to Twitter Tuesday to ask what her followers thought about the whole situation.

And they pretty much go on like that.
