The room got awkward Monday night when Howard Stern was David Letterman’s guest. Not because the radio host tried to kiss Letterman, but because Stern asked point black if that “creep” Jay Leno was invited as one of Letterman’s last guests.
“By the way Dave, are you thinking about having Jay Leno on next week for your last guest?” Stern asked.
The audience began to clap, and Stern stood and said, “Don’t applaud that!”
“Are you serious? Are you out of your mind?” Stern asked. “Is it true you guys put out the offer to Jay?”
