Firefight Footage From An A-10 Warthog’s Cockpit Is All I’m Watching Today [VIDEO]

Ever since seeing “Top Gun,” I wanted nothing more than to be a fighter pilot.

Unfortunately, I started wearing contacts in the second grade, so that pretty much killed that dream. Still, it’s 2015, and:

…that allows even the blindest of bats to live out their “Maverick” fantasies. I’ve watched a million of these in my spare time, but this footage from inside the cockpit of an A-10 Thunderbolt II as it “rains freedom” is some of the most amazing I’ve ever seen.

The U.S. Air Force uses the A-10s — a.k.a. “Warthogs” — to patrol the skies in East Asia, and if you’ll please excuse me, I’m about to watch this video 10-20 more times.
