Disaster nearly stuck Bellmore, N.Y. the other day.
While taking a stroll with her son, Allison Mungo-Clancy noticed a young duckling trapped beneath the pounding falls at Mill Pond. Unable to save the young duck herself, Ms. Mungo Clancy “called 911 and Police Officer Jason Kogan of the Seventh Precinct” swooped through to save the day.
