Capitol Hill Police: Suspicious Package In Front Of Library Of Congress

Capitol Hill Police released a statement Friday about a suspicious package in front of the Library of Congress.

“The U.S. Capitol Police are continuing to investigate a suspicious package in front of the Neptune Statue outside of the Jefferson Library of Congress building. All staff and other personnel are directed to avoid this area until further notice.”

The Capitol Hill Police became suspicious of a car with a pressure cooker that was parked near the capitol just five days ago. Police detonated the pressure cooker and arrested the owner of the car for a revoked license.
