Tree Huggers Dressed Like Moose On A Fake Iceberg Are STALKING Scott Walker

Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, a presumed Republican presidential candidate, spent a solid chunk of this past weekend in New Hampshire — glad-handing, talking politics and, of course, being chased by two global warming protesters who were dressed up as moose and traveling on a sad-looking, inflatable iceberg.

The duo of moose costume-festooned demonstrators from Americans United For Change stalked Walker as he was aboard the MS Mount Washington for Friday night’s sunset cruise on Lake Winnipesaukee sponsored by the Belknap County Republican Committee.

The waterborne protest featured two signs. One read: “Climate Change Is Real.” The other pontificated: “Even Moose Understand Climate Science Better Than Scott Walker.”

A press release still available on NH Insider explained the stunt by Americans United for Change as a “[f]loating iceberg dock trailing Governor Walker with climate voters in moose costumes” because Walker is “the Koch brothers’ favored candidate” and has refused to support tax increases to fight climate change.

The “climate voters” — both of them — hoped to “press Walker and his out-of-touch views on climate change,” the press release touted.

With two asterisks, it also promised “**Great Visuals.”

David Webb of Sirius XM’s The David Webb Show, who was an on-the-scene cruise participant told Breitbart News that the great visuals featured a near tragedy involving the inflatable iceberg and the protesters in moose costumes.

“Here’s what happened: When they tried to keep up with the M/S Mount Washington as it departed the dock, they flipped the raft over and the Marine Patrol had to go rescue them,” Webb explained.

In a separate press release, Americans United for Change demanded answers to several questions including what Walker has promised “billionaire” “oil baron” “polluters” Charles G. Koch and David H. Koch “to become their favored presidential candidate” and whether Walker counts himself “among the Republican candidates who reject climate science despite the 97 percent agreement in the scientific community that climate change is real and man-made.”

A recently-released paper by South Africa-based physicist and climate researcher Dr. Philip Lloyd suggests that global temperature change observed over the last hundred years or so is well within the natural variability of the last 8,000 years. Lloyd is a former lead author for the Intergovernmental Panel On Climate Change (IPCC). (RELATED: Former UN Lead Author: Global Warming Caused By ‘Natural Variations’ In Climate)
