Fans wanting to attend either the Stanley Cup Finals or the NBA Finals have to prepare to dish out some serious coin.

Forbes.com found that the average ticket price for the Stanley Cup Finals is a ridiculous $1,376. Meanwhile, NBA Finals tickets are commanding an even higher price tag. Average tickets for the series are going for $1,573.

On Wednesday, the Tampa Bay Lighting battled the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 1 in Tampa, with Chicago rallying late in the third period for a win. On Thursday night, LeBron James and his Cleveland Cavaliers will travel to San Francisco to face off against Steph Curry and the Warriors, where tip-off is set for 9 p.m. EST at the Oracle Arena.

Ticket prices for both events have exploded on the secondary market, with tickets selling far above face-value. The price increases have been driven by a few factors. The NBA Conference Finals came to an unexpectedly quick end, resulting in a long lay-off, which allowed demand to build.

Both match-ups are also dominated by superstars, with MVP Steph Curry and former MVP Lebron James facing off. On the ice, superstars Patrick Kane of Chicago and Steven Stamkos of Tampa headline. The finals for both leagues should be tremendously exciting and feature lots of offense, but good luck attending for anything less than several hundred dollars.
