MSNBC Graphic Has Two Grammatical Errors… During Segment On Education

MSNBC’s graphics team really picked the wrong time to have two separate grammatical errors on its chyron: during an “Andrea Mitchell Reports” segment on education in the United States.

The error was first caught by Democratic communications director Josh Zembik. “America School’s Improving For 3rd Year In A Row,” read the chyron.

Here’s another image of the same chyron, which went uncorrected throughout the five-minute segment.

For the grammatically challenged, that should read “America‘s/American Schools“. Maybe “America Schools” would have been acceptable depending on space limitations… but come on, it’s only one extra letter.
