‘The Apprentice’ Goes Off Air For Donald Trump’s Presidential Run

Donald Trump announced he is running for president Tuesday morning, and now we’ve learned that his reality game show won’t air during his campaign. (RELATED: Donald Trump Is Running For President)

TMZ reports that season 15 of “The Apprentice” won’t air this fall because networks can’t give certain candidates a disproportionate amount of time. Instead of replacing Trump, the show will be put on hold.

But NBC isn’t sure about Trump’s future on the show. Instead, the network told Fox News they “will re-evaluate Trump’s role as host of ‘Celebrity Apprentice’ should it become necessary, as we are committed to this franchise.”

The 69-year-old made his “major announcement” at the Trump Tower on Fifth Avenue in New York.
