Dustin Johnson had a disappointing Sunday.
Though he led for much of this weekend’s U.S. Open, DJ self-destructed on the 18th-hole of his final round. Johnson missed a 12-foot eagle — which would have given him his first Major victory — then failed to convert a birdie opportunity that would have forced an 18-hole playoff with eventual champion Jordan Spieth. This was Johnson’s second blown U.S. Open — he had a 3-shot lead going into the final round in 2010 — but luckily his fiancee, “Super WAG” Paulina Gretzky, was there to throw some serious smoke and save Father’s Day for new-Daddy Dusty.
